Mrs. Lilla Vertna [Pearce] Ragan Obituary
Marshallville, Ga. – Dec. 8, 1982 – Mrs. Lilla P. Ragan, 88, died Wednesday December 8, 1982 in a Houston County Hospital after an extended illness. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley, Ga., The Rev. Danny Barton will officiate.
Mrs. Ragan, a native of Fort Gaines, Georgia was a member of Marshallville Baptist Church. She lived near Marshallville [Macon Co.] Ga.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. D. L. Massee of Marshallville and Mrs. Grace Gore of Homestead, Fla.; and several grandchildren: Davine V. Campbell, Gayle V. Wells, Joanne G. Weaver, Alice G. Giblin, James Gore]
The family will be at the residence of Mrs. D. L. Massee inb Marshallville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Marshallville Baptist Church.
Rooks Funeral Home of Fort Valley has charge of arrangements.
